Is there any doc or any attempt one can share on implementing Assistant UI functionality?

Looking to add Assistant UI chat capabilities. Anyone working with it?

AFAIK, it hasn't been released yet despite showing Feb 2019 on the roadmap (I would like to experiment with it myself!). IMO, the roadmap probably needs to be updated to say Feb 2020 for Assistant UI (or maybe even 2021 based on COT's existing backlog)...

  • Assistant UI Add-on is the upcoming feature.

We have announced our first Add-on - Offline Sync. Learn more at https://codeontime.com/blog/2019/10/a.... It will work with release 8.9.0.0. The new release is being prepared to ship ASAP. We jumping from 8.7.14.0 to 8.9.0.0.

The next add-on is CoT v9. The entire design environment of Code On Time is being re-implemented as an add-on for Code On Time apps. You will be able to design "live app" - inspect elements of the live page and change its properties.

App Builder Add-on will be included in all product editions.

Surveys Add-On is based on App Builder and will make possible data-driven surveys discussed at https://codeontime.com/roadmap#surveys.

App Builder will replace the Project Designer and will be activated only when you access your app via localhost on a computer with Code On Time installation.

Surveys is the runtime feature. It will allow creating surveys at runtime and collecting user input in JSON format to the tables configured by the developer.

Assistant UI Add-on is based on the upcoming native GraphQL support in apps created with Code on Time. We are replacing the current REST API with native implementation of GraphQL.

Assistant UI Add-on translates text input from the end user into Graph QL queries. The response is communicated to the user in the text form.

The add-on will provide a command line window in the apps when enabled.

We will also provide pre-built agents to communicate the user-generated email, sms, or speech to the app with Assistant UI enabled. The responses will be returned as email, SMS, or speech.

Both GraphQL and Assistant UI are using the data controllers of your app. The unique architecture of apps created with Code On Time makes it possible.

  • Aside from the offline-sync add-on, are all the above add-ons included in the app editions?
