Change value from pagesize not function

In a grid it is observed that it loads the records of 30 in 30, but we would like it to load 100 in 100. The grid has the property of multiple selection. We are working on version 8.6.12. We try to change the page size property, with a javascript business rule, but it does not work. Could you please support us? Thank you.

  • Lidia,

Touch UI loads data in blocks of 30 rows. In reality the server-side code returns between 60 and 90 rows. Number 30 is a "magical" number and user interface implementation has some dependencies on it.

This number shall not be changed.

We are in process of rewriting the grid/list/cards to provide natural bi-directional hyperscrolling scrolling, grid-in-grid, and many other cool features.

The new implementation will allow custom data page size that can be overridden in ~/touch-settings.json. The work is in advanced stages and we are hoping to roll the initial version of it very soon. Internally we call it Grid 2.0.

  • In a previous COT versions we were capable of adjusting the 30 to 200, we really need to get the 200 records per request, is there any workaround available?, and, aprox when will you have the grid 2.0 released?
