I need a C # business rule that runs before modal open. This rule define if a confirmation modal should be opened.

  • I've had to do this in a couple of cases and have had to take different approaches depending on what's happening in the modal.

    If you're just opening a record in the modal, you may be able to do what you want in a before Select editForm1 business rule. That usually is all I need, and I do something like this in my business rule.

    if myCondition is true then
    'abandon the modal and go somewhere else
    'Close the window via javascript
    PreventDefault()
    Dim navString As String = "window.location.replace('Home');"
    Result.ExecuteOnClient(navString)
    end if
    'and go on to the modal as normal

  • I think I explained it wrong. I have an "Open Confirmation Modal" action with this: _controller=FrmCliente
    _title=Validar Importacion

    before, i want to validate if the confirmation modal should be opened
