Changed reply in topic of WebEx Please followup by sdms to JJ Lottering

Thanks for your reply, really appreciate your assistance and what you suggested. Reporting is not one of my strongest areas. I started to look at this and discovered someone has posted that a new video regarding this was posted by COT about 19 hours ago. I would like to say that the WebEx’s I have done with COT have been worth their weight in gold and would recommend them without hesitation but what I find extremely frustrated and disappointed with is that it was a paid WebEx which I followed up on as requested by COT and even then got no response and now I discover by accident that a video has been posted. It would have been nice for someone at COT to email me advising that my follow up had been addressed with the availability of a new video. Will have a look at the video and hopefully it will show me what I need to do.

Changed reply in topic of Access Control Rules - can you override the rule to exclude one specific controller by sdms to Thanks Peter but not sure if it’s as simple as an elseif statement as I need the first rule to run regardless of what’s in the elseif statement. Based on what COT said in the above link for the records to appear each rule must equate to true. I thought the issue might be to do with the where clause as it’s trying to match the userID with the users company ID so I added another rule which is the same as the one above but my where clause for this one is.. where userID = @userID or userID <> @userID

But doesn’t seem to work because the companyID still doesn’t match the company ID for that user therefore equates to false

Still trying to get my head around it.
